I am a true shopaholic... I crave the high that I get when I buy something. I make my purchases mostly online because the world wide web has much more to offer then the pathetic selection we have here locally. Hope these tips will come in handy for your upcoming holiday shopping :)
Google Image Reverse Search
This tool is pure genius! It is a simple tool that lets you search the images reversely on Google Images and find the other copies of the very image you are looking for on the web.
You just copy your image's URL and paste it in Google Image Search. You see that little camera on the right? Click on that! All the websites using that same image will show up! Now you know where other stores have your item available! Hopefully, you found a cheaper place too XD
Be realistic
Look at the pictures carefully. Does the item really flatter the model? If it doesn't look good on the model, then chances are it will look worse in person.
I must emphasize that you need to pay attention to the piece of clothing/accessory itself and not the gorgeous lighting, hair, and makeup that goes with it. Sometimes you get sucked into how gorgeous the overall picture is instead of the item you are interested in. Remember these pictures were taken with fancy cameras and probably photoshopped some more.
Also, keep in mind your appearance is probably very different from the model. So do look in a mirror and picture yourself with the item. Use that imagination of yours. You sure it will look good on you??
Keep a Shopping List
I always have a notepad of things I want. ( You can use whatever tool to keep record ) I have a long list LOL! Honestly, these are mostly beauty products or other nonessential items. You have to remind yourself, you don't need this now, you can wait. Why wait? For a sale, of course! So basically, I only shop when there's a sale. And if there's a great sale, I'll stock up for future needs aka. hoarding HAHA! So my last and most important tip is to keep a shopping list and wait for a sale!
HAPPY SHOPPING! :)
